Scripts for Additional Shots

From the first draft of our trailer and taking into consideration the audience feedback from our trailer first draft, we decided to add more shots/scenes which also needed scripts. Here are the scripts we decided to use. These scripts, however, could be changed to suit the shot characters/actors better. Also, in the newer version of our trailer, these shots with dialogue will be edited down so that the punchiest, most effective parts of the speech are included to conform to the conventions of the thriller genre, in that the trailer needs to be edited quickly to try and keep the audience on edge

This is the script for the scene where the protagonist (Ryan) and protagonist’s wife (Frances) have a conversation over breakfast:

(Ryan and Frances are sitting at breakfast with coffee and toast, talking about their future)
Frances – “We need to talk”
Ryan – “Sure, what about?”
Frances – “I don’t want you doing heists anymore. I want to build a family with you”
Ryan – “but what about all the money we make?”
Frances – “I’m bored of money now!”
Ryan – “And do you know how hard it is to leave?”
Frances – “No, and I don’t need to! Its either me or him, you choose!”

Continuing, this is the script for when the protagonist (Ryan) and antagonist (Luke) talk about the new heist/job:

(Ryan and Luke are talking)
Luke – “Mate, I’ve got a job for us”
Ryan – “My wife doesn’t want me to do heists anymore”
Luke – “What? Why?”
Ryan – “She wants us to build a family”
Luke – “Well, you can’t just leave crime!”
Ryan – “Watch me!”
(Ryan storms out)

Finally, this is the script for when the antagonist (Luke) and antagonist's boss (Ryan) discuss the situation they are in:

Myles – “You have no idea what you’ve got yourself into! Do you think this is acceptable?”
Luke – “No, but trust me, I’ll sort it”
Myles - "You’d better! Either pay me my money, or my ‘friends’ will be in touch!"
