Film Trailer Graphics

When editing our trailer, I decided to look at possible fonts we could use. I decided to research different thriller film trailers and see what font styles they used. Some film trailers that I looked at and liked the font style of were 'Kidnap', 'Split' and 'The Foreigner' and the pictures below are the font styles that were used. Both 'Split' and 'The Foreigner' have parts of the text distorted with lines going through it, something that we could try and incorporate into the text we will use in our film trailer.

I also looked at different fonts on various websites and found the following that we could potentially use.

The fonts I found on the websites were similar to the ones I saw in the film trailers. All the fonts I looked at were all eroded and had parts of the text worn away, shattered or distorted. Taking inspiration from these different font styles could benefit our film trailer and make it look more professional and could help it follow the conventions of the thriller genre better.
